I can't tell you the last time that I have actually closed out a bar. But I did tonight for the first time in a long while. Trying to stay up past 11pm is a task at times. I think I hear my pillow calling my name right now.

In answer to your question, I've been kicked out of pubs at closing time many many times - although in the UK that's not such a great feat, as until recently they all had to stop serving at 11pm! Oh well.
I remember one such occasion, my girlfriend got very excited that we were going to be part of a lock-in (a UK tradition of illegal drinking after hours) as the owner started to bolt the front doors. I had to gently burst her bubble by telling her that no, sorry, he was just closing up for the night and we'd have to leave pretty soon...such disappointment!
Last call is at 11pm in the UK?
LOL...Awhile back my brother and I started drinking at 9pm one night and didnt go to bed til 5am! We are always the last ones standing.
It has been years since I closed out a bar! More than 14 years probably!
